A Warm Goodbye.

A Selection from the ICI Library: Psychic Light by Mrs. Maud Lord-Drake

In this moment I find myself saying goodbye to an organization whose people, space and mentality represent a remarkably unique pocket of the world. I have never encountered a place like the ICI. The library here is full of connections and puzzles, all offering the true inquirer deep solace in the fact that yes, this place exists and yes, it continues to grow (vibrantly at that). The Institute has given me so much, including experience, inspiration and a deeper appreciation of visual research.  Though my time felt brief it did not feel fruitless and I only hope that I have given back to this place as much as it has given me. Good luck to all those associated with this exceptional institute, and thank you for letting me take part in its timeline.

Adieu, Alyssa
