An example of Ephemera Kabinett Filmstrips that Janet works with

As the Ephemera Kabinett intern, Janet’s task is to contextualize the Ephemera Kabinett within the ICI and the culture at large.  More specifically, Janet’s duties include inventorying, researching, and cataloging the filmstrip collection.  Her research goes anywhere from the original use of filmstrips in classrooms to artists and collectors who are interested in the filmstrip technology today.  Of the 90-something filmstrips at the ICI, Janet is focusing on a small portion to catalog and to use for a project that will give a taste of what the collection has to offer.
