Due to my absence on this field trip, I am not able to compare the ICI to the Museum of Jurassic Technology. Therefore, I thought I’d give a comparison of the websites instead.
The first interesting dissimilarity of the two organizations that stood out to me was the undertaking of projects. It seems that the Museum of Jurassic Technology focuses more on exhibitions, while the ICI focuses more on publishing and events. Furthermore, I perceived that the ICI works more with contemporary thought while it appears that the Museum of Jurassic Technology has more historical aspects weaved in. Of course, this is only my outsider’s perspective.
