I’m currently exploring what I am referring to as “object-oriented exhibition design”. I am drawing from an emerging trend in continental philosophy, object-oriented ontology. Object-oriented ontology (OOO) attempts to reconfigure philosophy not as the study of the being of humans but rather a study of the being of objects where humans are considered one object among many. It is not that all objects are equal but that all objects exist equally.
