Redesigning the Library

My most recent project at the ICI has been to redesign their library system. I was really excited for this project because I really love books and the ICI’s library is so interesting. The ICI has decided to go from a digital system to a paper system. So, I have been creating a card catalog system to organize the books. Additionally I have made a library pocket to go inside the book and a shelf indicator that tells us if a book has been checked out. So far the work is going well. I had a lot of fun researching for images and found some really great ones, like astrology signs, language trees, and brain maps. Tuesday, I created a mock up of the shelf indicator. The mock looked great, I think we are almost ready to make the real ones!  Today I will be perfecting the designs and hopefully do a run through of the system!
